Today
What works on 15 October 2026
The suite is in development, and nothing is released yet. These are the products that work today, what exists of each promise of the suite, and how far each Eurocode has come.
In development. Four of its 17 products are working today as command-line programs and C APIs: frame-analysis, eurocode-calcs, section-analysis and model-convert. frame-analysis also has a desktop program. Nothing is released yet.
Products in development
What each product does, and what it does next
The Products page lists everything each one does today, how it is verified and how fast it is.
-
Frame analysis
frame-analysisAnalyses 3D frames, including their response to earthquakes, to large displacements and rotations and up to plastic collapse, and checks every steel member to EN 1993-1-1.
Command-line program, C API, server for AI agents and desktop program
Next The desktop program's tables of every record kind, its loads and combinations panels and its 3D view, then time-history analysis, linear and nonlinear, which the underlying
femlibrary now runs. -
Eurocode calculations
eurocode-calcsChecks steel cross-sections and members to EN 1993-1-1 and EN 1993-1-5.
Command-line program, C API and server for AI agents
Next The concrete, load and EN 1990 checks of the
eurocodelibrary are not exposed through this product yet. -
Section analysis
section-analysisComputes the properties, torsion and warping, plastic capacity and stresses of any cross-section.
Command-line program, C API and server for AI agents
Next The desktop program: its window, with the plan and 3D views, on the
desktopandviewportlibraries. -
Model convert
model-convertInspects, checks and converts IFC models for scripts, pipelines and other programs.
Command-line program and C API
Next The checks of rules and IDS files, the spatial structure, elements and their properties, and meshes, and serving its operations to AI agents.
The promises today
What exists of each promise
The idea makes six promises. This is the part of each that is built.
-
One model for every task
Today
project-modelholds grids, levels, members, walls, slabs and openings, and bridges along IFC 4.3 alignments with piers, abutments, bearings, isolators and expansion joints, all driven by parameters, and steel components whose joints set the member ends of the analysis model it derives. -
Programs use it as people do
Today
frame-analysis,eurocode-calcs,section-analysisandmodel-convertare command-line programs and C APIs generated from their operation definitions, and the first three also serve their operations to AI agents over the Model Context Protocol. The language packages come when their first users need them. -
Open to extension
Today
parametersevaluates named formulas with units, andconstraintssolves parametric sketches with 27 kinds of constraint. The component graph and its SDK are planned. -
Connected to the rest of your toolchain
Today
ifcreads and writes IFC2x3, IFC4 and IFC 4.3 as text, XML and ZIP, with structural models, alignments, geometry up to advanced breps with openings cut, styles, layers and georeferencing;meshreads and writes STL, OBJ and 3MF;csvandspreadsheetread and write CSV tables and XLSX workbooks. -
Results you can check
Today The
eurocodelibrary covers parts of EN 1990 to EN 1993, EN 1997 and EN 1998, and all three parts of EN 1995. Steel checks are verified against published calculators, the SCI Blue Book and the worked examples of SCI P358 and P398, analyses against closed-form solutions. -
Fast, local and yours
Today
frame-analysisruns the response spectrum analysis of a 14 720-member frame in 8.44 s against an 11 s budget, on one processor core.
Design codes
The Eurocodes, clause by clause
The goal for every part is buildings, bridges and infrastructure, with the recommended values and the Finnish national choices. "In progress" means that parts of the standard work today and more are being added.
